Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for an experienced RN looking to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for a diverse population presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to stabilize patients, administer treatments, and prepare them for further care or discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with various emergency conditions, from minor injuries to critical traumas.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent situations, including codes and critical events.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment.
