Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months of permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Emergency Room experience - Experience must be in the specialty applying for - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completion required with acceptable scores Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The position is for the night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Emergency Room specialty prior to submitting an application. A permanent Ohio license or a compact state license must be in hand at the time of submission. Candidates are required to hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with TNCC being preferred. The selected traveler must work every other holiday. During orientation, candidates will need to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both. Failure to pass either of these assessments after two attempts will result in cancellation. Background checks will be reviewed, but candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Nurses and surgical technologists are currently exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. All other travelers are required to be nicotine-free.
