Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,717 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: RN - ED (Travel Position) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Variable Shifts (Mid Shifts and Night Shift) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - 1 year minimum of current Emergency Department RN experience - BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications - Ability to work mid-shift/night shift Description: The emergency department includes 11 beds, staffed by 2 RNs 24/7. A paramedic is available for 40 hours a week, with 1 MD present 24/7. Additional support includes 1 radiology tech and 1 security guard, both 24/7. Patient ratios are 1:4 for optimal care. The unit is equipped with GE monitors and Baxter pumps. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Candidates must be flexible, positive, and work well in a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic setting. Typical procedures performed include EKGs, IV insertion, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care.
