Description:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week.
The nurse will care for patients in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with patient ratios of 3 is required.
Preferred experience includes working in a Level II Trauma Center.
Candidates must have certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and SAMA.
Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
The role includes responsibilities such as blood product administration and care of ventilated patients.
The nurse will be responsible for managing central lines and administering continuous IV sedation.
Skills in triage and interpretation of dysrhythmias are required.
The role may involve caring for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics.
Candidates should be prepared for a daily patient census of approximately 75.
Weekend coverage is required for this position.
Preferred experience in community hospital settings is a plus.
We do not require CPI training, but SMAA knowledge is appreciated.
