Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC must be current and active. Must-Have: Must have 18 months of permanent Emergency Department experience prior to travel. Epic experience is required. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Department specialty is required. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during the orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made. Previous charge experience is preferred. The facility does not accept any license violations. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of start, including nicotine testing. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for 1 year from their previous end date. Candidates must complete BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing the contract. Exemption from nicotine-free requirements applies temporarily for specific roles. Travelers may extend their contract for a period of 18 months; after which, a 6-month break is required. Modules and training time vary by specialty and may be billable under certain conditions. All billing and compliance details will be managed according to facility policies.
