Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital ED RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital emergency department RN experience. Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications. Description: This position is for a travel RN in the emergency department. The unit has 32 beds and approximately 60 staff members. Staffing includes a charge RN and multiple RNs, with adjustments based on shift requirements. Patient ratios depend on acuity assignments, generally operating between 1:4 to 1:6. Equipment used includes Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Key skills sought include triage, assessment, conscious sedation, and splinting. The ideal candidate will be flexible, professional, and a team player.
