Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,730 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in the Emergency Room specialty is required. Experience may be within one location or combined. 18 months of recent Emergency Room experience is mandatory; travel experience will suffice. License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The shift starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 11:30 PM. Candidates must possess a valid Ohio nursing license. All required certifications must be active and available during the application process. A reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty is required. Previous charge experience and familiarity with charting systems are preferred. Travelers may not have any open background cases or license issues. All other travelers, aside from nursing staff, must be nicotine-free. Candidates must pass the necessary background checks and drug screenings as specified. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, followed by a required break before returning. Modules are completed before the start of the assignment, with billable hours for required annual training.
