Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,731 per week in Aurora, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital emergency department experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a travel RN in the Emergency Department. The unit has a total of 50 beds and comprises 68 staff members. The typical day shift consists of 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMTs/Medics. The mid-shift has 8-10 RNs and the night shift has 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMTs/Medics. Patient ratios are approximately 1:4 or 1:5, although this is an estimate and never guaranteed. The department is equipped with EKGs, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech. The ideal candidate will complete all emergency department care needs. We seek individuals who are energetic, have a collaborative style, and possess excellent communication skills with staff and providers. Priority will be given to candidates with Level 1 trauma experience and stroke experience.
