Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,731 per week in Smyrna, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI Must-Have: Experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and codes. Advanced skills needed in STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis. Preferred experience with Trauma. Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The unit has 39 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Surge beds are assigned to each section. Staffing includes a free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. Equipment includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation is performed using Meditech EDM. Scheduling requires work every other weekend. There is no floating policy. Patient experience focuses on teamwork and individual care. Procedures performed on this unit include intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. The dress code requires charcoal grey scrubs. Unit policies and guidelines are available for review. Recognitions such as employee of the month and patient experience recommendations may be noted. The unit is equipped with new technology and staffed by experienced professionals.
