Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,738 per week in Round Rock, TX

Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This is a contract position for an RN in the Emergency Department. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to hold certifications in ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC. There are no call requirements for this position. The unit has 35 beds and a variety of staff including RNs, PCTs, Medics, and Unit Secretaries. Patient ratios are typically 3:1 or 4:1. Types of procedures performed in this department include trauma management, stroke care, STEMI response, and moderate sedation. The ideal candidates will be high-energy individuals who thrive in a busy environment. Dress code requires navy scrubs for RNs and tan tops with black bottoms for PCTs and Unit Secretaries. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech, is preferred. Rotating weekends are part of the schedule, with 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.
