Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Perform assessments and documentation
Administer medications
Conduct wound care and splinting
Perform IV insertions and manage lab draws
Provide care for patients with ESI levels 5 through 1

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Level II or Level III trauma experience
Current TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
Over two years of emergency department experience preferred
CEN or TCRN and CPI certifications are advantageous
