This role is perfect for nurses specializing in emergency care who thrive in the fast-paced environment of a Level III trauma center. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse- Provide acute care and assessment for ER patients, including trauma and stroke
- Initiate IVs, perform blood collection and transfusions
- Administer medications and perform resuscitations for adults and pediatric patients
- Manage care for behavioral health patients
- Assist with intubation and moderate sedation
- Apply restraints and assist with splinting as needed
Requirements of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse- ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC certification
- Experience in a Level III trauma center
- Preferred: TNCC, ATCN, or CEN certifications
