Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required. CPI preferred. Must-Have: - 2 references from authority figures within the last year - Flu vaccine required during designated flu season - COVID-19 vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions only Description: This position requires on-call availability and the ability to work during holidays and emergencies. You will float to various locations as needed. Patient ratios are 1:4. Weekend shifts are required – six weekend shifts every six-week schedule cycle. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with the EPIC documentation system is required. The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The setting supports a high volume of daily visits with a diverse range of patient diagnoses. The role involves various clinical skills, including arterial line management, blood product administration, and the care of ventilated patients. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive patient care. Candidates must be available to comply with health and safety requirements.
