Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,794 per week in Fredericksburg, TX

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas Hill Country

Start Date: May 6, 2026
Location: Fredericksburg, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), every other weekend required

• 11-bed Emergency Department in a rural Texas Hill Country setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3, allowing for quality patient care
• Advanced emergency procedures including STEMI and Stroke protocols, conscious sedation, chest tubes, and intubation
• Meditech Expanse EMR with modern equipment including Phillips monitors, Lifepak 20e defibrillators, and Lucas devices
• Collaborative team environment with 28 staff members across day and night shifts
• No floating to other units required

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience (required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities
