Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,815 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience, Epic experience required Description: Position available for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The position requires working night shifts, 3 days a week. The nurse will be part of a team providing emergency care. Ratios will be maintained at a maximum of 4 patients per nurse. Travelers may be required to float between like units or sister facilities as needed. Previous charge experience is highly preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is required. All required certifications must be current at the time of submission. Patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient visits average around 110. The facility has a variety of patient diagnoses, including strokes and trauma cases. Responsibilities include management of arterial lines, administering blood products, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must be prepared to respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response teams. The facility operates year-round, with the possibility of emergency assignments during hurricane season.
