Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,822 per week in Cartersville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENCP, FHM Must-Have: EPIC charting system experience required Community hospital experience required Preferred experience in Level I or Level II trauma Minimum patient ratio experience of 4 Description: HARD STOP: EPIC required. Weekend: Every other weekend required. Call: None. Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed. The traveler is expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, start may be pushed back by two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates accepted at the same rate. The unit does not accept travel pairs. The unit requires compliance to all onboarding tasks and documentation prior to the starting date. Max request for time off during the contract is 7 days. Additional requirements and tasks may be necessary based on the facility’s protocols. Care experience must include acute psychosis, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, drug overdose, and triage. Skills also include management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, and care for pediatric patients. The unit supports interdisciplinary practices including therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Compliance with onboarding and ongoing training is essential.
