It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. This facility handles over 60,000 patients per year. The nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for other patients. An associate degree in nursing is required. Two years of experience working under the highest level of professional license is required. Trauma experience is essential.
