Description:
Emergency Department travel nursing position available.
The position requires a willingness to float to other units and hospitals.
Candidates may work 36 or 48 hours per week.
Holidays must be worked as required, and every other weekend is mandatory.
The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups.
It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team.
The team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
The Emergency Department is a designated trauma center and a designated stroke center.
It treats over 60,000 patients per year.
The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical or trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients.
An associate degree in nursing is required for applicants.
Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPR, and TNCC are necessary.
Two years of experience in the field of specialty is preferred.
