Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,840 per week in Snellville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year; first-time travelers not accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: BiPAP/CPAP management Care of Ventilated Patients Central line care/management General Emergency Department experience with adults and pediatrics Interpretation of dysrhythmias Isolation Precautions and PPE IV vasopressors Management of dysrhythmias Triage experience Description: The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room. The patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics. The nurse will work a 1:4 patient ratio with an average daily census of 135 patients. The unit consists of 46 rooms with 44 beds. The role includes floating to a sister campus if necessary. There are no call requirements associated with this position. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls during their assignment. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, travelers are expected to work both. Compliance is required to start on time. Any non-compliance may result in a two-week delay in starting due to the orientation schedule. Pre-approved time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days during the contract. No time off requests will be accepted after the offer has been made. Modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty. All compliance documents are required to be submitted prior to the start date.
