Job Description

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Snellville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, 46-room Emergency Department with average daily census of 135 visits

  • Structured orientation with Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
  • Collaborative environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • No call requirements; predictable scheduling with self-scheduling options
  • May float to sister campus based on facility needs
  • Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; RTO must be finalized at submission
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Demonstrated competencies in: BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care/management, IV vasopressor administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and triage
  • Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
  • Full compliance documentation required to start on time; incomplete compliance results in two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
