Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,854 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - ED Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care emergency department RN experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS Must-Have: 1-year minimum of current acute care emergency department RN experience BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS Ability to work mid-shift/night shift Description: This position is for a travel RN in the emergency department. The unit has 11 beds and operates with a dedicated staff. There are 2 RNs available 24/7, along with a paramedic and a medical doctor. Radiology technicians and security personnel are also present around the clock. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:4. Equipment includes GE monitors and Baxter pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include EKGs, IV placements, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care. The ideal candidate will be positive, flexible, and a team player. Candidates with ER charge RN experience and a willingness to float between ED departments will be considered first.
