Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,857 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Room; travel experience required License: Valid RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Travel experience is required. Candidates must have completed at least 3 travel assignments in the Emergency Room. Description: The Emergency Room is large and busy. The facility accommodates a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. High acuity cases are frequent, including stroke and STEMI patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. The Emergency Room has a capacity of 59 beds, averaging 165-175 patients per day. General emergency department skills are necessary. Epic is the required charting system. Travelers are expected to work one or two major holidays, depending on their assignment period. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers must work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day. All compliance documents must be completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Full compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit before final approval. This position may involve floating within the facility as needed based on the scope of practice.
