Job Title: Registered NurseProfession: RNSpecialty: Emergency DepartmentDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Rotating WeekendsHours per Shift: 12Experience: Minimum 2 yearsLicense: RN LicenseCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALSMust-Have:- BLS- ACLS- PALS- Emergency Room experienceDescription:This position is within an Emergency Department.The unit has 12 beds and a staff of 25.The staffing includes a charge nurse during day shifts, four registered nurses, and one technician.A clinical coordinator is present from 7 AM to 3 PM.Night shifts have one charge nurse and one registered nurse after 1 AM, with a clinical coordinator from 3 PM to 11 PM.Patient ratios are typically 4:1 unless in the Fast Track area, which has lower acuity.Equipment includes Glidescope, bedside ultrasound, EV1000, trauma room, and psych safe room.The EMR system used is Meditech.Key skills include triaging and stabilizing patients, with occasional trauma cases and care for the elderly and pediatric populations.Candidates should possess a driven, fast-paced, and outgoing personality.Tattoos must not be greater than 50% of exposed areas, and hair must be of natural color.Call will be required based on departmental needs.
