Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: RN License Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS TNCC Must-Have: Able to care for critically ill patients. Emergency Department nursing experience. Description: This unit cares for both high and low acuity emergency department patients. The unit has 8 beds and typically has 6 staff members daily. Staffing includes 2 RN and 1 EMT during the day shift, and 2 RNs during the night shift. Patient ratios on this unit are 4:1. Typical procedures include medication administration, care for critical patients, and conducting labs. Ideal candidates should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Preferred skills include ENPC certification. The unit requires 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
