Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,858 per week in Stockbridge, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Care of Ventilated Patients - Continuous IV Sedation - Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Triage Description: Minimum experience of 2 years is required. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Every other weekend is required. No on-call duty expected. Floating within the facility as needed based on scope of practice is required. Candidates will be evaluated by clinical staff for fit. If clinical pass is achieved and guidelines are met, the candidate will be sent for a final decision. Return to work (RTO) is limited to a maximum of 7 days. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler will be expected to work at least two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to ensure timely start. Candidates must complete onboarding and core items within the specified timeframe. Modules are completed during the orientation period and are recorded via transcripts. Daily census for the department is approximately 250 patients. The unit supports a variety of patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available, including therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The department functions as a Level 3 Trauma Center and has a focus on stroke and chest pain management. Specific competencies such as telemetry exams are required. Additional equipment and specialty areas include various acute care protocols.
