The Emergency Department has 52 beds and operates with a diverse and dynamic staff. The typical staffing consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod. The patient ratios are approximately 3:1 on average, with low acuity cases at 5:1. Team nursing is utilized for pediatric patients. Ideal candidates should have experience in large facilities and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electronic medical records is preferred, particularly with Meditech. Candidates should demonstrate strong skills in patient care and commitment to patient experience.
