Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,860 per week in Aurora, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - ED Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital ED experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital emergency department experience. Description: The emergency department has 50 beds and a staff of 68. The staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMTs/Medics on the day shift. Mid-shift staffing consists of 8-10 RNs. Night shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMTs/Medics. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:4 or 1:5, but are never guaranteed. The unit is equipped with EKGs, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors. The EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates should possess skills in travel nursing and be familiar with emergency department procedures. Preferred qualifications include level 1 trauma experience and stroke experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, collaborative, and possess strong patient care experience. This role requires effective communication with staff and providers.
