Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Provide prompt, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department
- Perform triage assessments, prioritize care, and respond to acute medical and trauma cases
- Administer medications, treatments, and assist with emergency procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, paramedics, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety and infection control policies
- Travel locally as needed to fulfill assignment requirements
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
