Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Travel RN specializing in Emergency Department care in Thornton, CO. This role involves working in a dynamic emergency environment in the main building on the first floor, providing critical care to patients with an average of 145 daily admissions.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - Emergency Department

• Perform rapid assessments including ESI Triage
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and focused reassessments
• Manage pain and oversee sepsis, stroke, and trauma interventions
• Respond to MCI, administer blood, and perform procedural sedation
• Provide pediatric emergency care and handle behavioral health crises
• Monitor vital signs, conduct EKGs, and perform defibrillation
• Insert IVs, collect blood samples, and administer medications
• Assist with sutures, wound care, and splinting

Requirements of the Travel RN - Emergency Department

• Minimum 1-2 years of current acute care ED RN experience
• BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC certifications
• CPI Blue card
• Experience in Trauma level 1 or level 2 (preferred)
• Prior experience with Meditech (preferred)
