Job Title: Critical Access Hospital RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Access Hospital RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6pm to 6:30am Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Experience in ER and acute care, ability to triage in ER, team player Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. The role involves working in the emergency room and acute care settings. This position is for the only night shift RN in the facility and is responsible for the ER. The RN will also serve as house supervisor for the long-term care nurse and CNA. Candidates must be willing to assist fellow staff members as needed. The role requires support for long-term care activities, including rounds and toileting at night. Each shift is staffed with 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 CNA. The emergency room typically has a very low census of 1-2 patients per shift. The hospital census is also low, averaging 1-2 inpatients. This position requires a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
