ER experience will be considered. Weekly orientation is conducted. All travelers must have required certifications before starting. The unit caters to diverse patient needs, including substance abuse and related conditions. Common diagnoses include polysubstance abuse, ETOH, and other underlying behavioral conditions. Treatments may vary and can include medication tapers and routine prescriptions. Employees are expected to treat each other with respect and adhere to facility standards. A willingness to learn and support team members is essential. Individuals should remain calm in chaotic situations. Clinical judgment and problem-solving skills are important for this role. Candidates are expected to follow expected protocols, including audits and unit checks. Education expectations must be completed during the contract period. Dress code requires solid colored scrubs, with restrictions on logos and certain types of clothing. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment. Floating to other departments may be required but is not standard.
