Key Responsibilities of the Travel ED RN:
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care for patients of all ages
- Respond to trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and medical emergencies
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families during acute and post-stabilization phases
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel ED RN:
- Active Kansas RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC and NIH required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
