Must-Have:
ER experience with emphasis on observation/holding or Telemetry/Stepdown care.
Description:
Patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Staffing ratios are 1:4.
Key skills required include telemetry and dysrhythmia management, IV insulin and heparin protocols, and renal failure management.
Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration, is essential.
Responsibilities include blood product administration and tracheostomy management.
Utilization of rapid response teams is necessary.
Wound care and wound vac experience is expected.
Non-invasive airway management skills, such as CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen administration, are required.
Experience using an electronic health record system preferred.
Candidates should have familiarity with various medical procedures and protocols relevant to acute care settings.
Interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare professionals is part of the role.
Compliance with safety and infection control protocols is essential.
Candidates must be proactive and responsive to the needs of patients in a high-acuity environment.
