Number of staff: 120. Staff composition: Day shift charge nurse, 23 RNs, EDTs, medics; Night shift charge nurse, 20 RNs, EDTs, medics. Patient ratios: 4:1. Type of equipment used: GE cardiac monitoring. EMR system: Meditech. Skills most recruited for: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Preferred skills include: TNCC, ENPC, previous experience in an HCA facility. Typical procedures performed on the unit: Functions of an Emergency Department nurse. Best personality fit: Positive, teamwork-oriented, flexible. Floating areas: None.
