ASAP start needed. Overall facility features include 294 beds and Joint Commission accreditation. Services provided include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. Located 45 miles east of a major city and within 2 hours of the coast. Easily accessible to major universities and recreational areas. Emergency Department is equipped with 26 beds. Patient ratios are flexible based on acuity, typically 1:4-5. Experience with standard emergency department equipment is preferred. Electronic Health Record system in use is Meditech. Duties will involve managing a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics. Common diagnoses treated in this department include respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis issues, and hypertension.
