The facility provides emergency services with a focus on various patient diagnoses. Daily census is approximately 96 patients, with multiple diagnoses ranging from respiratory distress to trauma. Nurses will be responsible for managing complex cases and performing procedures that may include blood product administration and ventilated patient care. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various medical professionals. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. The unit experiences a patient ratio of 4-5.
