Exciting ER Travel Nurse Opportunity! Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Unit Type: Emergency Department Number of Beds: 27 Staffing: 50 RNs, 25 Medics Patient Ratios: 4-6:1 Team Composition: Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2-3 Medics, with increases in RN staff at 11 AM and 3 PM Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2-3 Medics Equipment: EMR - Meditech Typical Procedures: RSI Sepsis Interventions Stroke Protocol with tPA Administration Central Line Placement Care of Psych Patients Transfers to Other Facilities (EMTALA) Ideal Candidate Profile: Must Have: Completed 2-3 travel assignments 2-3 years ER experience Preferred Skills: Experience in high acuity ERs Experience in fast-paced ERs with high volume Familiarity with patient ratios of 5:1 Best Personality Fit: Relaxed and easy-going Friendly and team-oriented Respectful towards colleagues and patients Required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC Preferred ENPC, NRP, NIH Preferred Weekend Commitment: 4 weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period No on-call required.
