License: Must have a valid RN license in hand.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required. TNCC, CPI preferred.
Must-Have: Experience in a teaching hospital preferred. Must be open to floating and working every other weekend.
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department.
Candidates with experience in a teaching hospital will be given preference.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Floating to other units may be necessary.
You will work a patient ratio of 1:4.
The Emergency Room sees a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily visits can average around 120.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various services including Respiratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy.
Candidates should possess a variety of skills including managing acute psychosis, drug overdoses, and respiratory infections.
Experience in managing trauma cases and performing emergency procedures is essential.
