Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,976 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, must have completed 1 previous travel assignment License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, experience in an emergency department setting Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The position requires working three 12-hour night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar size and volume emergency department. The nurse will be responsible for charge and triage duties, IV starts, and phlebotomy. Experience with Cerner is preferred. The environment sees approximately 150 visits per day, and the patient ratio is 1:4. The nurse will be trained on the unit before being expected to work in a charge role. Call is required every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary. Nurses may come into contact with patients who have COVID-19. The position may involve caring for patients across all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must provide two supervisory references, including one from their most recent assignment. Scheduled requests for time off must be submitted in advance. Candidates must complete a minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered. Compliance with facility training and certification requirements is mandatory. All candidates must successfully pass a clinical review prior to hiring.
