Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,976 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience License: Required nursing license in applicable state Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: RN position in Emergency Department. Night shift 3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00. Charge and triage experience required. IV starts and phlebotomy skills needed. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4. Emergency department experience is essential. Clinicians will receive training on working as charge. Daily visits average around 150. Scrubs must be provided by the clinician. May have contact with patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Call required every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary. Preferred certifications include CPI, MAB, and TNCC. Interdisciplinary support available in unit. Candidates must have completed a minimum of one travel assignment. No requested time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Maximum of 7 days off allowed per 13-week contract. References are required supporting 2 years of experience in the last 3 years. Nurses with previous employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning. Completion of facility- and unit-specific compliance modules is mandatory. Candidates are encouraged to plan ahead for potential scheduling conflicts. Failure to complete required modules may result in cancellation. Candidates must pass an EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for clearance.
