Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,982 per week in Olney, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER Charge experience required. License: Must possess a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required. Must-Have: Must have Cerner experience. Must have completed at least one travel assignment. Description: A registered nurse is needed for the emergency room. The candidate should be comfortable with a multi-function department that includes geriatric, pediatric, and psychiatric care. The position requires experience in stroke and TNK administration. The registered nurse will be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census consists of approximately 90 visits per day. The nurse will need to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Candidates must successfully pass the required EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms. Candidates are required to have skills in blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage. Two supervisory references are required that support at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years. Candidates must have 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years. No requested time off (RTO) is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. RTO must be included at the time of submission and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent for review. Candidates must complete assigned facility-specific modules upon hire, which must be completed promptly.
