Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent RN with emergency room experience for an exciting travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role requires the ability to provide routine and complex care in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current PALS certification required (AHA only)
- Current TNCC certification required
- RN License in state of TX or compact
