Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Salem, VA. This is a travel assignment suited for nurses with prior ER experience. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED- Perform rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and administer sepsis interventions
- Implement stroke protocols including tPA administration
- Place central lines and provide care for psychiatric patients
- Manage patient transfers to other facilities under EMTALA guidelines
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork within the emergency department
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Completed 2-3 travel assignments
- 2-3 years of ER experience
- Preferred experience with high acuity, fast-paced ER settings
