Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Comfortable floating to nearby facilities Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires floating to a nearby emergency department as needed. The nurse will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each week. The nurse is required to work every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Candidates must have experience in patient care management. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory. TNCC certification is preferred but not required. This role involves managing various patient conditions, including acute emergencies. Applicants should have the ability to handle diverse patient populations. The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Candidate must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills. The position requires adherence to quality and patient safety standards.
