Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience License: Must have a current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC Must-Have: - Certifications must be attached to the candidate submission - Must have a multi-state RN license - Candidates may need to float between facilities Description: The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients. This is accomplished by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership. The role includes anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department. The registered nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. They delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the personnel available. The registered nurse provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel who deliver patient care.
