Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar setting License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Charge Experience - Experience with Meditech charting system Description: Provide 24/7 medical care to critically ill and injured patients. Work in a general emergency department with combined adult and pediatric care. Perform triage and maintain PPE standards. Administer blood products and manage intravenous (IV) lines. Conduct EKG reading and monitoring. Demonstrate skills in CVA management, neuro-trauma, and care of ventilated patients. Support a streamlined admissions process with the latest monitoring equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Participate in emergency response for a variety of patient diagnoses and injuries. Maintain certification and skills for trauma and non-trauma cases. Follow established protocols for patient care and safety.
