**Exciting Travel Nurse Opportunity in the ER!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 22 (with vertical space area for additional patients) - Approximate Staff: 50 - Staff Composition: - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5-6 Nurses, 1 Tech, 1 Medic - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5-6 Nurses, 1 Secretary, 1 Tech/Medic - Patient Ratios: 1:4 - Equipment: Phillips & GE Monitors, Level 1 Rapid Infuser - EMR System: Meditech (EDM) - **Typical Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills:** - Strong IV skills in adults & pediatrics - Excellent communication skills - **Preferred Skills:** - Trauma experience, TNCC - Meditech experience - **Typical Procedures:** - Cardioversion - Central line placements - Management of cardiac arrests - IV insertions, EKGs, etc. (basic ER skills) - Pacemaker interrogation - Code Stroke protocol - Code Sepsis protocol - Suture/Abscess set up - **Best Personality Fit:** - Team player with an energetic attitude - Professional & respectful to patients & team - Ability to hold self & others accountable - Patient-centered focus - Excellent attendance record - Quick adaptability to change - **Required Certifications:** - BLS, ACLS, PALS & CPI - **Floating Area:** - Potentially to our Free Standing Emergency Department (approximately 15 mins away) - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Teal top with black or teal bottoms - **Scheduling:** - Every other weekend, including at least 1 Friday & 1 Monday in a 4-week schedule - No on-call required - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
