Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; ENPC will be accepted in place of PALS License: Michigan Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other nursing and patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Recognizes that each patient is a unique individual with the right to quality nursing care. Ensures mutual goal setting between the nurse and the patient. Assures patient rights and privacy are protected. Held accountable to ethical and professional standards as defined in the ANA Code for Nurses. Accountable to state and regulatory agency standards. Requires individual competence in nursing practice. Recognizes and accepts individual actions and judgments responsibly.
