Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,046 per week in Olympia, WA

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency setting. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Floating between various like units is required. Quick start is preferred for candidates with a pending license. No local travelers who reside within 50 miles are eligible for the travel contract. The facility sees approximately 170 patients daily of all ages. The facility is a level 1 stroke and cardiac center and functions as a level II trauma center. Candidates will be expected to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. The role includes triage and management of various emergent situations. Candidates must be able to perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage dysrhythmias. All travelers will need to float to other affiliated facilities if required. Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays during the contract. RTO requests must be made upfront during submission. References from the last three years covering one year of experience will be required. The position will include a daily patient ratio of 4:1. Candidates must have experience in utilizing the EPIC charting system. All candidates will undergo a compliance process prior to starting the assignment.
