The selected candidate will provide care for patients in a fast-paced environment. The hospital is a level III trauma center and serves a diverse patient population. The facility has state-of-the-art operating suites and various trauma cases are handled. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care, as well as a childbirth center and pediatric unit. The department features a team nursing approach and a pod system. Social workers and unit educators are assigned to support the team. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1 in the main Emergency Department and 6:1 in the Fast Track area. Common diagnoses include ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. The candidate should possess experience in managing emergency cases and critical care situations. This role contributes to a healthcare environment recognized for its excellence.
